Grooming is a whole new world for a puppy. New sounds, unfamiliar sensations, someone touching their toes... there's a lot to take in.Our three-visit puppy package gives them time to explore that world gently, with a familiar face and plenty of encouragement. Each appointment builds on the last, working towards their first complete puppy groom.
For puppies under 12 months at their first appointment. Three one-on-one visits, approximately two weeks apart.
Visit One: Hello, Temple
A gentle introduction to the studio - and to me!
We’ll explore the sights and sounds, practise gentle handling and introduce the grooming table and equipment in small, manageable steps. Plenty of praise, treats and time to find their feet.
Visit Two: Finding their paws
We’ll revisit what your puppy has already explored and gradually introduce more of the grooming routine.
Depending on their comfort, this may include a bath, gentle drying, brushing and small tidies around their face, feet and hygiene areas. We’ll take breaks and give them time to get used to each new experience.
Visit Three: Bringing it all together
Building on the first two visits, we’ll work towards a complete puppy groom: a bath, dry, brush and an appropriate haircut or tidy for their coat.
Then it’s time for a graduation photo. A little milestone worth celebrating!

Throughout the package, your puppy has private, one-on-one appointments with the same groomer, giving us time to build familiarity together.
You’ll receive an update after each visit, simple guidance for practising at home and a puppy report card to celebrate their progress. And, of course, a few Temple treats along the way.
Every puppy learns at their own pace. The three visits give us a clear plan, while their comfort guides how we progress. If they need more time with a particular step, we’ll discuss that with you and adapt their groom.
When can we start?
Your puppy can begin once they’ve completed their puppy vaccination course and your vet has confirmed they’re ready to attend a grooming salon.
You’re welcome to enquire beforehand so we can plan their first visit.
